Welcome to Manchester Health Watchdog Website

Manchester Health Watchdog is the Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Forum for Manchester Primary Care Trust and is a statutory body set up by the Government to enable communities to have a say in the provision and shaping of local health services.

It is independent of the NHS and is made up of volunteers whose role it is to monitor and review health services by gathering experiences and comments from patients, carers and relatives.

All comments and patient experiences collected are used as evidence to make recommendations to Manchester Primary Care Trust and other NHS Trusts to ensure that the health services provided meet the needs of the local community.
